Here I am again—another year, another attempt to start a new blog. It’s become a bit of a ritual for me, this fascination with new beginnings.
New Year, New Me type of situation.
Maybe it’s a coping mechanism, a way to stay inspired, or a quiet plea to rediscover myself in the midst of life’s constant evolution.
For 24 years, I’ve been a mom—a role that has defined me in the best ways. My three children, once small enough to need me for everything, are now independent and finding their own paths. While I’m endlessly proud of them, I can’t ignore the quiet moments when I wonder: Who am I now?
Fourteen years ago, I shifted from being a stay-at-home mom to a work-from-home mom, building a food blog @Sandra’s Easy Cooking, and photography business that became my creative outlet and livelihood. It’s been a journey filled with joy, challenges, and growth.
Yet, as proud as I am of what I’ve built, I’ve also felt limited. My blog, with its food-centric identity, doesn’t fully represent the multifaceted person I am. Rebranding seemed too daunting, so here I am, carving out this space to explore and embrace all the passions that make me, me.
I’m a woman who finds comfort in a good book, excitement in a gripping thriller, and laughter in a lighthearted comedy. I love cooking and writing, but my soul also dances to rock and metal music, my heart flutters for photography, and my mind craves the creativity of art.
Lately, I’ve been focusing on staying active with workouts designed for women over 40—embracing routines that energize me without overwhelming my body. Aging isn’t always easy, but I’ve decided to welcome each year, each wrinkle, and each laugh line as a testament to the life I’ve lived.
This blog is my sanctuary—a digital magazine where I can pour out my thoughts, share book reviews, highlight favorite finds, and even sprinkle in a recipe or two. It’s a space where I can laugh, cry, and connect with anyone who finds themselves here.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of being a writer and photographer for a magazine. That dream has evolved, but the essence remains. Am I the best? Probably not. But this isn’t about perfection. It’s about authenticity, passion, and creating a space that feels like home for me—and maybe for you too.
I think I was put on this earth to create so thats what I have been doing for a long time. Thank you for being here and walking alongside me on this journey of rediscovery.
With love,
Sanna
P.S. Here is the pic that you can print too. I like playing on Adobe and Canva so you might find these printables pop up from time to time.
